Do You Legally Have to Pay Utility Bills?

The answer to this question largely depends on whether you have signed a contract with a provider.

If you have signed an agreement with a utility provider then you are entering into a binding contract to pay for their services.

You may be taken to court if you refuse to pay, so it is best to come to an agreement with your provider to repay any debt you have accrued.
