What Happens After a Sequestration Order?

Sequestration last approximately 12 months. If you have followed all of the instructions, then at this point you will be discharged. At this stage you may still have some financial obligations to uphold.

At this 12 month stage, your Trustee (The person managing your bankruptcy) may still be realising your assets and tying up loose ends. You will need to wait until this is complete before you will be discharged.

Once this has been done and you have been discharged, you may still be required to pay money to your creditors straight out of your wage, if you have one.
